| Saturday, April 6: Texas Men's State Chili Cook-off: Texas Men's State Chili Cookoff Located at the Blanco County Fairgrounds, west side of Hwy 281, just south of bridge crossing the Pedernales River. CASI Entry fee $35, turn-in 1 PM. Automatic qualifier for TICC. Benefits many Johnson City charities and emergency services. RV parking w/limited electric. Park opens Thursday morning at 8 AM. Cooks' party Friday night. Potluck Thursday night. Entertainment Friday and Saturday nights. Domino tournament, open cash beans, wings, and much more. Special bronze longhorn trophy and $500 TICC expense money to 1st place chili. Also, Texas Men's State Barbecue Championship, 70/30 payback, pays 10 places. Join us for the fun.
