Thursday, July 4: 7th Annual All American Chili Cookoff at Becker Vineyards: The 6th annual All American Chili Cookoff will provide a day of fun for the whole family at Becker Vineyards on July 4th. Seventy world class cooks will compete in this CASI-sanctioned event in an effort to win qualifying points toward the Terlingua International Chili Championship. Additionally, the sampling public will vote for their favorite chili of the day. Chili tasting proceeds will benefit Habitat For Humanity. Becker Vineyards opens at noon and chili samples will be ready at that time. The day will also feature entertaining chili showmanship, wine tasting, and music by the Raggedy Cats.
